Overview
The Technology Start-up Support Scheme (TSSSU) is an initiative under the Innovation and Technology Fund in Hong Kong. It provides funding to technology start-ups associated with one of the six local universities.
Eligibility Criteria
A technology start-up is eligible to apply if it is registered in Hong Kong under the Companies Ordinance. The registration period must be no more than two years from the application deadline for the TSSSU-O variant, or no more than seven years for the TSSSU+ variant.

Application Process
- Technology start-ups interested in TSSSU should submit their applications to the knowledge transfer office, technology transfer office, or entrepreneurial centre of their associated university.
- Each of the six universities has its own prescribed application forms and guidelines for handling TSSSU applications.
- Applications assessed and recommended by the selection panel of each university will be forwarded to the Innovation and Technology Commission for agreement.
